New Appreciation of 3C
I started back playing 3C again and playing the PGA 18 this week and was going along pretty well in first three rounds and was -13 and then in round 4 it all fell apart as couldn't hit snap at all and shoot 76 and had to play my butt off just to hang on. I forgot just how tough it could be when you don't have your snap and really enjoyed the struggle. Not playing as much anymore as I am traveling a lot and wanted to play this game again and to be honest enjoy it like I used to and think I have found that again. Played 3C most of my video golf life and again the best players don't always have their snap but they are able to make up for it with their short game and you have appreciate those who do that. Looking forward to this new PGLS tour format even tho I will be missing most of first two months but again the game is fun again.

@Greensboronclion
Welcome back to PG and PGLS. I too tried all the other swing methods since 1997 PC golf games. None of them felt as comfortable as the 3Click method.
Enjoy the game. That's all that matters.

The truth is Maxie that I have tried since the inception of the game to try and play video golf a new way and did but my problem is it was like playing in a closet by yourself. There really was never anyway to compare my play to others as nobody else tried another swing. In the begining I was playing MS and loved it and we had quite a few playing but that number dwindled and then it was on to Controller and then when the scandal broke that was it for that and RTSM is only for those who enjoy torture. So when controller comes back I look forward to that but guess what I am the only one playing and shooting 75 by yourself is not fun. So I just said I want to play but have to compete and that is why I am back to 3C. I have learned change is hard and most people won't and know some at Links who never came over because they were just comfortable playing Links and wouldn't change. I at one time played 3C here at TP level and will be back again to that level and at least now I can compare my scores with the masses and not just myself. It's all good as at least I am playing again.
