New Points System?

Post by SimChars1968 »

Could somebody clarify what points system we are using now for Stableford. I just scored -4 and got 8 points, I don't think that was the system that was agreed in the poll?

The points system used in the PGA.
The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.

Play well and enjoy your game everyone! :drinks:

btw, not a game for snowflakes.

You managed to find the forum...there is another post in this section which had a poll on it...you could have voted..if you did, thanks, if not, Mark decided to accept the voice of the majority that did which voted for a change in the system to the one used in the PGA when they had a Satbleford event.

Hope that answers your question.

the points are all relative. so if they made it 1500.1000,400,200,100,50 would that make you feel better your still be in the same place on the leaderboard

Terbal, you said the same thing in another thread. You guys never answer the questions posed in this forum. You just state some nebulous opinion. The question was, why? That a majority voted on it doesn't answer the question. Why did you vote for it? If it was all relative, why change it and produce all of this confusion?
