Round 5 for January
Hi all,
Looks like I mucked up and accidently chose Challenge tees not Championship when setting.
Apologies to all, at least we are all playing off the same I suppose.
Will try harder to not make the same mistake again going forward.

The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.
Play well and enjoy your game everyone!
btw, not a game for snowflakes.

Re: Round 5 for January
Nothing to be concerned about. As you said we are all playing the same course and conditions.cubbies645 wrote: Sat Jan 25, 2020 3:14 pm It happens Andy this week when i set the HDH i set all 9 stimp greens duh right oh well good laugh..
And let's not forget all the great work you do behind the scenes.
So no complaints from anyone please

Re: Round 5 for January
OGT use to do these as a tourny when I played over there. To me its more fun than CTP (which uses challenge tees) , so I would like to say thank you for making the mistake :)

When you design a course with challenge tees, its not exactly the same thought process though (CTP vs stableford). Most CTP designs will work for stableford challenges, but the opposite isn't always true. For example, if you look at Ironwood, that was setup for a stableford-like challenge - NOT CTP. Some of the tees make it very hard to hit the green, but still leaves birdie or even eagle in play. It just makes those two harder to come by.
