Another complaint

Sometimes I wonder what you guys are thinking. You have a tournament that REQUIRES that players hit in to hazards in order to have any semblance of a decent score. Two times in a row at Vassar, starting the first, and third round, I hit in to the rough ON PURPOSE 1) because there was no other hazard, i.e., sand traps in range, and 2) because that's what you have to do. BOTH times I am OB. Not one OB stake on the overhead (when has there ever been one???) and not one OB stake when I ran the F3 key to my targeted landing area. Both holes....OB. This is just bullshit.

I NEVER practice the tournament courses before beginning...EVER. So, how does one know? And why do you do that?

to me just sounds like you are way over hitting things, do you look at the course elevation
before you start a tourney? it is always a good thing to check, as for not being enough hazards I don't agree with that plenty of
rough to hit into along with greenside traps. as for the off the wall out of bounds, you find that on many courses so I think that is something in the design, not sure if ob markers even show up in many of the overheads as I don't use the overhead much. one thing I do agree with you on is that the OBs are not easy to see some of the time and that could be done better but that is up to the designer.

OB does not show up on the map but that is down to PG and Course Forge. I got caught out too.

OB should never be just off the edge of the fairway unless there is absolutely no other choice.
