You could always play Classics, Divisions, could have entered Survivor..Skillz, Tuff Stuff, HDH, finish Open.

Plenty of things to play, you just choose not to and so it becomes a "dead day"?

Just saying.
The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.

Play well and enjoy your game everyone! :drinks:

btw, not a game for snowflakes.

Let's kindly request a couple of 9 hole CTP or Hazards for Fridays. No harm in asking. :good:

The break on Thursday allows the team of moderaters to close down last weeks tours and set up the following week tours. It also allows Mark the time to make any changes or to resolve any problems, it's also the time when when stats resolve player movements.. For some its a very busy day in between the end of one weeks games and the start of the next. Skills and Tough Stuff had the starts changed and theres also Classic and Open games open and if any want more to do they could pick a course and test it for problems, thats always welcomed.

I had the idea of the PG Classic. The concept came about because I enjoyed playing Real Courses. I also wanted to play the Pay 2 Play courses in a tourney. I sugested it to Mark for consideration. It was decided because it was not a weekly tour Pay 2 Play courses could be used because the fact that not all players held these courses they could not be included in Tours that merit points were award. Because PG Classic is not involved in the merit ponts group, it was started. It was decided to use a Handicap system to try to make it a level playing field and give those lower player a chance to win. Not everyone likes PG Classic especially as it has proven very hard for good players who give a lot of shots to lower players, but for some its given them the opportunity to top the table

Nobody is being forced to play it, Its not compulsory. I set it up each fortnight, I choose the course, I set the pins, I and others enjoy playing it.

So its unnecessary for someone to paste that its a Mickey Mouse event, Then again you kind of expect it from someone like Terry (Terbal) who spends most of his time moaning about this or that. Course, events etc, yet you never see Terry do anything to encourage the game or lift a finger to do something in the site. I should ignore his comments I know but there is only so much you can take..

I like the Classics event too. Excellent courses, gross and nett leaderboards. What's not to like? Also love the challenge of CTP, Tough Stuff, Survivor & Divisions. Great way to hone skills.
