Player Tier Movement Rules Amendment

Hi all,

This comes into force immediately before the August month counting events begin.

Any player deemed to be trying to manipulate the level they are playing at (trying to get put a Tier lower), will remain at the level they were at for the start of that month (ie, no Tier movement down).

Very high scores on 1 hole which are at odds with the rest of the round or a complete scorecard which is suspiciously a lot higher than the player's monthly average are examples of possible manipulation.

The final decision will be made by Admins.

Could this rule be applied for a player that is trying not to be moved up a level and so removes himself from a tour that month by cancelling participation from a tour to ensure he has not played 12 rounds and would automatically be promoted

If a player is removing himself from the event, he no longer appears on the leaderboard..so counts as not entered, leaves the correct people on the leaderboard.

I could of course just put a player up a level if it was deemed someone was abusing the system.
