So I've been unable to get to the May and June Pairs Results up until tonight. If the June Pairs Cup had been played, here are the results.
Divisions Pairs Cup Final results for June (new format).
Congrats to the team of TheOtherRick & Billyj346, The Mighty Reds for winning the Pairs Cup :

Thanks for carrying on, but I have a question. Looks like the final was tied, how was the winner decided?

It's the original tie breaker that Andy put in place for the Divisions Cups. No one has complained so far, but I would like something more golf related, but simple, to break ties.
Ideas?

Re: Divisions Pairs Cup June 2020
I had the idea that the hole index could be used as a tie breaker. Starting from the hardest hole (lowest index), work backward through both team's score card using match play to determine the winner. Your example: the Final used week 5 scores from the front 9 at Wolf Creek.
______Index: 1 3 5 7 9 11 13 15 17
______Hole#: 2 5 8 3 1 6 7 4 9
_Calibrators: 4 4 3 3 4 3 4 4 3
Mighty Reds: 4 4 3 2 4 4 4 4 3
Using this method, the Mighty Reds win on the 4th hole of playoff.
But...........in the Semis, (wk 4 at B9 of Ilsa San Monique) the Reds tied with ChicKen at 16. ChicKen won the playoff on hole #2 by 3 to 5.
Under this scenario, Calibrators would win the Final vs ChicKen by 18 to 15.
Give me enough time and I'll come up with a way that the Excellers win the Final.

Did my question come off like I was complaining? If you read it that way I apologize. I was sincerely curious. Once again, I thank you for keeping the numbers rolling.JMK59 wrote: Wed Aug 05, 2020 2:06 pm It's the original tie breaker that Andy put in place for the Divisions Cups. Not at all Perc. I think we both think alike more than you know.
So what did you think of using the Hole's index number as a tie breaker?

Re: Divisions Pairs Cup June 2020
trouble is, a lot of courses' indexes aren't correct? and using giantkiller rule, can be automated
The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.
