2021 Tournaments

I would like to see more Skills/CTP and Hazard Tournaments both 9 and 18 hole during each week in 2021. There are dozens of us who enjoy these types of tournaments.

Consider this a poll. If you are a verified PGLS member please type your thoughts on extra tournaments as described above. If you have no interest in these formats there is no need for you to comment.

I would not mind seeing the Hazard Tourney turned into a 72 hole tourney.
since I am the one who sets it every week. I have no issues with putting it together.

I had run the HDH tourney under CTP distance format for the last few months
but it seemed the count stayed pretty low. so I have now turned the HDH tourney back into a 72 hole format
for the folks who liked it that way. if anyone reading this wants to join in that tourney just post it in this forum
and I will get you on the tourney list.

As for another CTP tourney maybe Mark would like to try the CTP Distance format in
the PGLS tourneys. but with all the tourneys we have going on right now I just don't see it happening.

I'll be more specific...

Stroke rounds become boring. I think others feel the same way.

Different types of challenges i.e. Hazard and CTP put some pizzazz into the mix. Even longest drive 9 hole tournaments would be nice.

Too bad we don't have more MOP's. Links 2003 think you could design your own. The one I really liked was the 5 club tour. A putter and you pick the other 4 clubs to use. I think Mark said that was not possible with PG.

For myself the Tours are what I want to play, I want to steadily improve my round, I have certain players I want to beat each week all of whom reside in my own level.its ok to play hazard and CTP they prepare you the competition ahead where you need to consistently perform to a standard to enable to play the game, I feel we have a good balance of games atm but thats only my oppinion.
