I hear you Dunc. Not trying something different just thought the challenge for this course looked very challenging with almost all short shots. The par is the same for all players and were not going to be low but just to break even was going to be hard. Some courses don' show what par will be with challenge, like Karen, until you actually play. I did see all the par2's ahead of time, for this course, which I thought was silly but this tour was created to be different with conditions almost always being zero wind and much shorter T's. Sorry it frustrated you that was not my intention.

I for one liked the challenge. Trying for holeouts was fun, and the opportunities for birdies were on the few par 3's.
The round plays the same for everyone, and if all you are looking for is to shoot under par every round, well what's the challenge in that?
Trying to top the leaderboard is my goal, and unfortunately will not happen again this week.
Keep it interesting Alan!

As a setter ,we cant please everyone, but I respect your decision to set par 2,s for a change.
Some will enjoy it, others wont.
