It is no secret that I am no fan of links-style courses, but I have a question about the real-life Muirfield links course. The PG version we are using this week seems to be absolutely defenseless around the greens. Wide-open, no bunker protection in front most of the time, hardly any place to tuck a pin, I just find the lack of defense remarkable and the scores show it (looking at you pard... lol). Anyway, for anyone familiar with the real course, is the PG version anywhere near the RL course?

Re: Muirfield
Looking at this video there doesnt seem to be as many bunkers as on some courses.
Judge foryourself wether it compares to the PG version

Re: Muirfield
When throwing darts on tees-hots and approaches thus avoiding the only hazards in this course (fwy bunkers) must be a walk in the park. For those suffering from random but persistent snap offsets playing long shots thru PGLS it is a wicked course I can assure you.
