olimpic course settings

Post by Just Jolly »

I just want to point out that the 3rd round settings where outrageous for me, the slopes were severe and hard to cope with, example being tedious getting up & down in a fair manner, the ball roll was just a joke, just saying, in a word, unreal comes to mind. I know its only a game but it spoils what should be more realistic than pathetic.

It is a real course, designed by a british designer for the Olympics in Brazil. Just play and be humiliated I guess :)
EDIT not sure of some of the pins though lol

I really tried to keep the pins fair for all the rounds but when trying to use 4 different pin locations and only 6 available it is hard not to have some that aren't player friendly. I found round 1 the most challenging for me. One of those courses that are extremely tough to play. Frustrating but challenging and if you're not a person who cusses it teaches you to be one.

Not easy to keep fair pins here Riddler, not blaming you but I dont think the pins were placed right by the PG designer. I followed play on the course in the Olympics bc Stenson came 2nd, and greens can be tough but then pin placements can still be placed on flat ground. Cant help enjoying playing here, perhaps bc of the wide fairways and no rounds are the same.

You have to miss on the right side on a lot of these greens, but it takes multiple rounds to know where to miss it. The 7th hole in the 4th round was probably the hardest of the whole tourney. I was happy with par.
