Player arrival pop-ups

Is there any reason that the player arrival pop-ups couldn't be moved to the left side of the screen? I have often had my meter snap blocked by new arrivals and it fuks up my shot - that's why I defriend so many players - to reduce the number of pop-ups during my swing - any cure for this?

Turn them off in friend's menu notification settings.

Rod,

click on friends in Steam. Then the cog, then Notifications. Un-check boxes.

I hate those notifications and always turn them off.

Bring up Friends, then click gear(settings)...there is notifications in the next screen
