Sherwood CC "lite"

Post by Jugador »

Hey guys...here's a "lite" version of Sherwood. There's not as much "eye candy", but you should see around 10 extra fps on holes 7, 13, 14, and 16.
Thanks!

Thank you for making the lite versions of your courses. Your courses are so realistic and immersive that I don't notice much missing in the lite versions. But they do play a lot better and faster. And thank you for continuing to make real courses for all of us and to keep this great game alive.

Played Sherwood full 777 mb course with my 3 players group. I was a designer for JN6 GBC and can appreciate all the details outside the playing area. I spent hours playing sim city with my holes, building gardens and streets noone would see nor care about
But this was the first time in 5 years I heard comments from the others about external views, they are usually just concerned about the playing areas and dont notice.

This is one of the things that make Juggdor's designs so realistic: the details outside the playing area. Just compare one of his courses to one being used this week: The OSU Scarlet Course. it looks to be well done and accurate but there is nothing else there but the golf holes. So it lacks any realistic immersion experience for me. It's a great course, I grew up playing it.

Thanks Joemen! A compliment coming from a designer with your talent and your friends is humbling. Glad to hear you guys like it.
