Unfortunately the API is a bit restrictive. I can set tournies to be played by a specific level only for instance but can't set individual aspects of what is defined as a level eg. "Main View". There is even a "BLI" entry but it doesn't work and there is absolutely no control over the function keys that I can see :ermm:
I thought it might be this way, but was hoping not.

My assumption was that the biggest difference between low scorers (sub 65's) and mid-level TP (mid-to-high 60's) was due to better putting stats. Making putting harder might present the low scorers with a new challenge, without forcing the Realist Putting (awful implementation) on anybody.

Thanks for looking at it.

The points breakdown is a lot closer than used for the Season points in PGA9, PGA18 and Stableford.
they are TP'S because they are better players and maybe have better equipment. the leaderboards show this ie top 4 in last to tour events are all TP's. im not sure what pro's and ammys are playing for??????????????????????????????????????? maybe 20th is up for grabs

Yes, you're correct there, the first line of your post anyway. And I hear you, and, you may be starting to turn me around a little. I think there is to much emphasis on winning. I'm here enjoying the game and PGLS AND it gets me away from the wife and it's there that I'm a winner, that's the greatest victory of all.

I think we need to mull on this for a time, wade through the opinions and this way we will get the highest quality result, do you agree with that.

Maybe the beverage of choice while playing a round influences the final outcome. I'm going to go explore this idea further.

I don't really understand the concept of everybody having a chance to win every tourney regardless of playing level. Maybe everyone could get a politically correct participation trophy, LOL...NOT. If you're good enough to win you will if not too bad. Maybe separate the scores and have an Ammy, Pro and Tour pro winner then you have three winners every time.

If you look at the Honours Board, there is exactly that for each event.
The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.

Play well and enjoy your game everyone! :drinks:

btw, not a game for snowflakes.

hmm, that's not a bad shout...sure Mark will see this. Wonder if he can work his magic and have a Careers Earnings page for each Tier.

Of course, the fun will be when players move up or down a Tier at month ends.
