Pecan Valley GC
Hey guys...this was a public course I grew up playing as a teenager. It was built in the '60s but is still popular. Hope you like it.
Here's a link to a few pics over at PP if you want to see if it's something your interested in. Thanks!

Re: Pecan Valley GC
Thank you, sir...#2 and #15 were par 5's originally, PGA tour pros were averaging about 250 off the tee, and a gallon of gas was 25 cents!trevjor wrote: Sun Jun 25, 2023 4:23 pm Very nice classic course. Short by today's standard but plenty of pin positions to make it interesting.
I used no more than a 5 wood off the tee and no more than a 3 iron from the fw last night and it brought back lots of memories from when I played on my high school golf team.

Re: Pecan Valley GC
Very much like a course when I started in Luxembourg many years ago. Tight and tree lined and not as long as some of todays :-)

Re: Pecan Valley GC
Yeah, a lot of the older courses are fun to play if you can bring yourself to tee off with a 3 wood. Luxembourg...so far away. (sigh) If only we could jump thru portals! lol
