league matches
If a player is losing a league match, surely it would be best for them to concede the holes /course if they no longer want to play? It's really annoying to the player winning that the opposing player just disconnects from the game and them wait for more than 20 minutes to ask for a technical win as happened to me yesterday. In all I wasted nearly an hour waiting for the loser to return which they never did.

Re: league matches
Using the concede button crashes the game 50% of the time and has never been fixed so don't use it. Has the player got a history of just leaving a game when losing if so he won't find many people willing to play him. But not all disconnects are because the player is losing he might have lost his internet.

Re: league matches
I have had very few quitters playing head to head lobby games but recently maybe past 2-3 weeks i have came across maybe 4 , seems to be an influx of quitters at the moment.

Re: league matches
you got that Maxie, i only let em quit once then i dont let them in my games any longer
and i don't mind telling the others in the lobby who the quitters are.
how ever i did quit the league tables this month, im just not game to play the roller coaster courses
that in no way even resemble a real golf course.

Re: league matches
This quitter was asked by me if he'd reboot and said no! He's in my league so can't avoid playing him so hopeless trying to not play him unless you transfer him or me to another league or boot him out for bad sportsmanship?

Re: league matches
This is why the ability to request Technical Wins each month is there in cases like this. When the time comes you can request it explaining what happened in your match.
The How the League Tables Work section of the rules clearly explains about Technical Wins ...
rules.php?ruleset=20

Some people are like slinkies. Not much good for anything but bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs!

Re: league matches
If I'm not here after the 20th how will I get a technical win? You know Mark, how long I waited for my opponent to reconnect and his refusal to do! You should change the rules so that in cases like this the win can be given immediately it happens, especially as you yourself sent him a pm which he ignored?! The league positions don't reflect whats happened unlike any other leagues in RL.

Re: league matches
If you and your opponent have made a time to play . How long do you need to wait till he turns up ????
