Re: a point about points
les i was just pointing out there are lots of ways to cheat on pg and tgc im past the point of giving a shit now i just want to play on a level playing field as far as the points on the tour are concerned. as it stands i could have posted the end of season points table before it started and i wouldnt have been far wrongBiffa wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2020 7:37 pmAre you serious? so a straight edge will give you the perfect tempo every shot? On motion horizontal I used to move my mouse about one inch back and an inch forward to achieve a full meter swing, a straight edge isn't needed if you cannot do a straight line moving the mouse an inch then either practice or find another swing type. Motion swing is all about tempo nothing more nothing less if your tempo is off your all over the park, if its on you can get a decent round. I wish people would try out what they are saying before posting crap, do us all a favour go to motion swing horizontal or vertical try using a straight edge and see where it gets you before accusing different swing types of cheating (this is not at you dave but in general) Or maybe ask ALEXA to swing for you with a perfect tempo.davefv92c wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2020 6:10 pm but a mouse and a straight edge
will on motion, that is the main reason I quit playing motion swingIn TGC Tours if anything is a miss with the swing it alerts the moderators and your scores are removed from that event under their fair play policydavefv92c wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2020 6:10 pm the controller is so easy to cheat with, which was the main reason I quit playing TGC

Re: a point about points
So what you would like is a bit like putting Championship and Division 1 (pros and amateurs) teams into the Premier league (TPs), giving them a goal or 2 headstart (the various assists and less snap penalties) each game but wanting the same tv/prize money for finishing position.
Or for our friends across the water, inviting Minor League Baseball teams (pros and amateurs) to play in the Major Leagues but give them a few runs headstart (the various assists and less snap penalties) each game but demand the same tv/prize money etc?
Is that the gist of what you are asking for, level playing field?
You are correct in saying you could predict the end of season table, most probably could get close, depends who improves or wants to improve or whether they are purely playing for fun which takes the whole points thing away.

The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.
Play well and enjoy your game everyone!
btw, not a game for snowflakes.

Re: a point about points
Dave im a bit at a loss at your statement here, one minute your saying this
Anyhow my thoughts are the developers are to blame for this PG has far to many swing methods they should have selected one and stuck with it,might not have stopped the cheating shouters but would not have divided the community, and as far as there levels are concerned they are either going to have to add more above tour pro (similar to what WGT had to do) or the game is going to go stale eventually. As far as points in tour are concerned I know what way I would go but doubt any changes will be made so will keep it to myself.
And the next your saying this.davefv92c wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2020 6:10 pm but a mouse and a straight edge
will on motion, that is the main reason I quit playing motion swing got sick of people accusing
motion swingers of cheating, the controller is so easy to cheat with, which was the main reason I quit playing TGC
I viewed that game as the best cheat wins.
How can you possibly say you quit playing TGC because it was easy to cheat with a controller then in the next breath say you dont know about here (PG) and TGC then compare them to TW Series. The games have moved on a lot since TW Series anti cheats put in etc.davefv92c wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2020 9:45 pm yea tempo too, I don't know about this game or TGC but TW series was easy as hell to straight edge with

Re: a point about points
thats rubbish. if i won a prize of a invite to play in a real pro event i would get the same points as the real pro if i finished level with him. TP's have an avantage already as they are better players or they wouldnt be TP'S. what are TP'S scared of . pro's are fighting for 20th place on the final leaderboard and ammys 40th. what is the point? and dont metion honours board becasue that means nothing and no one looks at it. just give the not so good players a chance.Affo wrote: Fri Jan 24, 2020 10:12 am So what you would like is a bit like putting Championship and Division 1 (pros and amateurs) teams into the Premier league (TPs), giving them a goal or 2 headstart (the various assists and less snap penalties) each game but wanting the same tv/prize money for finishing position.

Re: a point about points
No idea what you are on about. For example, the last PGA 18 I finished 32nd overall and got a big fat 9,375 points. The next finishers at 33rd (two pros and an ammy) the ammy got 25,500 points and the pros got 10,000 each. I have frankly never understood the points here and as the high TP most weeks I get nothing from it, would not even look if you would stop picking the scab.terbal wrote: Fri Jan 24, 2020 1:34 pmthats rubbish. if i won a prize of a invite to play in a real pro event i would get the same points as the real pro if i finished level with him. Re: a point about points
Yes, but what EVERYONE does not understand is that there is an added element of tempo. Unlike a already there tempo (3 click), motion swing tempo adds to someone who can manipulate the x and y axis of a controller or mouse. This is why it is soooooo hard.terbal wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2020 5:56 pmif you use a controller for motion it can be manipulated and a mouse can be as well x & y axis and 3 click can use 2 mice. same on tgc lesBiffa wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2020 11:11 amIve been saying this for a long time but was shot down and ignored as a mod and shot down again as a member, 3 clickers are deciding what levels a motion swing should play without even knowing the differences in difficulties, the formulas for 3 clickers might be working for 3 clickers but are miles out for motion swing. Your banging your head on a brick wall Duval nothing will change here. As far as motion swing being manipulated is concerned I would like anyone to prove how because as far as I can see its your hand/ arm motion that effects the shot, if your tempo is off no matter how you try manipulate it the shot is off.Duval 59 wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2020 7:01 am What did I say? Andy will win every tournament. No contest. He shoots 2 strokes better than anyone else on average (albeit at 3 click, sad); Wins by eight, then nine. Throw in the towel continentals, your fighting for second place! I'd die to see what he would do at AMATEUR motion swing? Really, I am quite intrigued at what that would look like! Maybe those who make the rules would understand if they actually give it a try. Not hating, just being real fellas! Love the game and like the comp.! I've got all the comp I can handle at Amateur motion swing!!!!! Do you? ;) Grip it n rip it!![]()

You are absolutely right BIFF! It is all about tempo, doesn't matter y axis if you can';t get tempo right every time. IT IS AN ADDED HANDICAP FOR MOTION SWINGERS "."!Biffa wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2020 7:37 pmAre you serious? so a straight edge will give you the perfect tempo every shot?
