It's a Knockout (Brackets)
The Its a Knockout tournies are as its name suggests, Knockout tournies where you play matches and the winners go through to the next round until there is only 1 player left.

There are two formats of Knockout:
- the 'Weekly' Knockout takes place on Sunday at 19:00:00 (7pm) GMT / BST and plays through all rounds to completion.
- the 'Long format' Knockout is a longer format of the event, where players do not have to be available on a certain night but instead can schedule their matches against opponents to fit within the two-week timeframe available.

If you are intending to take part in the Nightly Knockout, please meet in the 'Meet & Greet' chatroom just prior to the tourney start time.

To arrange matches for the Forthnightly Knockout, you can contact players through the chatroom or via Private Message or email found on the player's profile (click here for a list of players, searchable by letter).

IMPORTANT
Please make sure you have checked that your Steam ID is valid and that you are using a player that is set to the same level as your PGLS Level. If it isn't and you win the KO match the result will be reversed.

Take a look at the following forum topic to see how to set your PLAYER correctly in the PG game

Setting PG player level

NIGHTLY KNOCKOUT RULES
Approximately 1 hour before the start of the tourney, players will be able to Check-in. If you are not checked in at the start of the tourney you cannot take part as the Player Grid will have been randomly drawn.

Players can still Check-in during the 1 hour prior to the start of the tourney. You can also Withdraw during this time if needs be.

The Player Grid will be randomly drawn at the start time and will be notified as such in the chatroom. You are also informed via a Whisper in M & G of who your first opponent is.

Players have 15 minutes past the start time to make themselves known to their opponent in the chatrooms. Players missing after this time will see their match either replaced by a waiting player or recorded as a loss and your opponent moved on to the next round.

The course and conditions which are being used can be found in either Course Details or in the Player Grid.

If the match is a tie after 9 holes then sudden death is automatically played until there is a winner.

This tourney is played out on the night. If you win your match please make your way back to the Meet & Greet chatroom to wait for your next opponent.

If a disconnection occurs players must always return to the Meet & Greet chatroom in an attempt to complete the match. Once a player appears in the Meet & Greet chatroom, missing players have 10 minutes to return there, otherwise the win will be awarded to the player who showed up.

FORTNIGHLY KNOCKOUT RULES
The Player Grid will be randomly drawn at or soon after the start time of the event.

Players sign-in and will then be ready to start the event as soon as it opens without any need to check-in to confirm their readiness to play.

Players should contact and make themselves known to their opponent via email or PM in a timely fashion as there are a number of rounds to play in a limited timespan of two weeks. Players should aim to complete opening and second rounds by the end of the first week. Players who receive no response when attempting to contact opponents should contact the site admin team who will try to gain a response. If no response is received withing 24 hours of admin contact, after this time any absent players will be removed from the KO tourney and their opponent awarded the win and advanced to the next round.

The course and conditions which are being used can be found in either Course Details or in the Player Grid.

If the match is a tie after 9 holes then sudden death is automatically played until there is a winner.
